Heart Hospital of Austin and St. David's Surgical Hospital named 2025 Human Experience Award winners by Press Ganey
Heart Hospital of Austin and St. David’s Surgical Hospital have been named 2025 Human Experience Pinnacle of Excellence Award® and 2025 Human Experience Guardian Excellence Award® winners by Press Ganey. These awards are part of Press Ganey’s annual ranking of the top hospitals and healthcare systems in the country, according to performance in patient experience. These recognitions place these hospitals among an elite group of organizations nationwide that consistently deliver outstanding results on patient experience.
Heart Hospital of Austin earned the Pinnacle of Excellence Award and Guardian of Excellence Award for its emergency services, as well as the Guardian of Excellence Award for its HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) scores. St. David’s Surgical Hospital earned the Pinnacle of Excellence Award for inpatient rehabilitation. This means these hospitals ranked among the top 5 percent of healthcare providers in delivering patient experience.
The Pinnacle of Excellence Award recognizes the top three hospitals internationally within each service area based on performance over a three-year period, and the Guardian of Excellence Award honors hospitals that achieve results at or above the 95th percentile.
