Program eligibility requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Be a current St. David's HealthCare employee in good standing
  • Be a full-time employee
  • Be a hospital or unit committee member
  • Be preceptor-certified
  • Be a St. David's HealthCare employee for at least six months
  • Have at least two years of nursing experience before the start of the fellowship
  • Have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
  • Have director-approved participation
  • Not currently be in a CNC position

Meditech is an integrated healthcare information system. As healthcare providers, you'll have direct access to the latest accurate patient information, including:

  • Vital statistics

You can also electronically sign your dictated reports without visiting our hospitals' medical records departments.

Picture archive communication system (PACS)

PACS is progressive technology that digitally stores and transmits a patient's medical image to any hospital connected to our market's system. You'll have access to patient information at your home or office with a secure website and high-speed internet. These digital images are cleaner and sharper; you can enlarge images with greater clarity.

Muse

Muse is an online critical care monitoring system that permits physicians to observe electrocardiograms (EKGs) and submit electronic signatures.

Digital tools for physicians

You can get reliable technical support any time, any day with our 24/7 technical help and physician support. We also allow remote access to our platforms on any windows, Mac or mobile devices.

If you forget your password, password reset is an application that helps you unlock or reset your Windows network or Meditech account password without calling the Help Desk. To use it, first create a profile and then remember "passwordreset" if you ever need to unlock your account.

PatientKeeper

PatientKeeper helps HCA Healthcare to house patient data from multiple providers and departments in one secure area. This makes it easier for you to find the data you're looking for so you can make informed decisions, ultimately ensuring the communities we serve receive the best possible care.

MModal voice recognition and single sign on

MModal is the speech recognition software used within our hospitals. You can download the mobile application at any time.

We also use Single Sign On, a one-time toolbar that saves your password and gives you access to all of your frequently used applications. It allows you to use your badge to log in to computers to make it easier to go from one device to another.

Physician learning center

Our physician learning center is our online gateway committed to non-employed HCA Healthcare physicians. Online access means convenience, whether you need to complete required training or catch up on CME credits.

UptoDate app

UptoDate is a paid offering from HCA Healthcare giving you access to continuing education classes and CEUs. You can view UptoDate instructions here.
