St. David's Medical Center among top 2% of U.S. hospitals for exceptional patient care

Healthgrades names St. David's Medical Center, including Heart Hospital of Austin and St. David's Georgetown, among America's 100 Best Hospitals.

Austin, Texas — St. David’s HealthCare announced today that St. David’s Medical Center (including Heart Hospital of Austin and St. David’s Georgetown Hospital) was recognized as one of America's 100 Best Hospitals for 2026. Healthgrades identified the 100 Best Hospitals in the nation for providing exceptional patient care. This achievement puts the organization in the top 2% of hospitals nationwide for overall clinical performance.

St. David’s Medical Center and St. David’s North Austin Medical Center also received a Healthgrades 2026 America’s 250 Best Hospitals Award™. This distinction recognizes hospitals for superior performance in providing care for conditions and procedures across multiple specialty services. These facilities were recognized among the top 5% of the 4,500 hospitals nationwide included in the assessment for clinical excellence, according to Healthgrades.
