We use advanced imaging and diagnostic testing to first identify any signs of cancer and where it occurs. From there, we are able to develop a treatment plan that specifically addresses your needs. Symptoms of gynecological cancer
Because the different types of gynecological cancer occur in different places within the reproductive system, the symptoms can vary. They can include:

- Rashes, sores or warts on the vulva
- Tenderness, pain or itching of the vulva
Gynecological cancer treatment
A gynecological oncologist is a physician who specializes in diagnosing and treating cancers in the female reproductive system. They have specialized training in surgical, chemotherapeutic, radiation and research techniques for gynecological cancer treatment. This experience enables them to give you the advanced care you need during your treatment journey.

If you are diagnosed with cancer, your gynecological oncologist will serve as the lead of your cancer care team. Your treatment program may include:

Young Women's Gynecological Oncology Support Group
We hold a support group for women from 25 to 45 years old who are diagnosed with gynecological cancer. The group is held on the second Thursday of every month from 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm and is an open discussion forum. We also host guest speakers who present about topics related to gynecological cancer and recovery.
The group meets at St. David's North Austin Medical Center in the Atrium Conference Room located on the third floor. The address is:
