College volunteer program

Thank you for your interest in our College Student Volunteer Program! By joining our college program, you are given a unique opportunity to experience a healthcare setting while gaining personal satisfaction through helping others. Our student volunteers make a lasting impression on our patients, visitors and staff.

Student volunteer placement

College student volunteers are asked to contribute a minimum of two consecutive semesters of service, or 40 volunteer service hours per semester. All student volunteers will begin their first semester at one of our volunteer desk assignments. This area allows you to become familiar with the hospital while allowing us to ensure these high priority areas are staffed. After your first semester, you may have the ability to transfer to a clinical or non-clinical assignment based on availability and need. Weekend and evening shifts are limited.
